Early painters in the desert southwest had a serious problem. They would painstakingly create images from this magnificient corner of the globe. They would ship the paintings back east, and no one would believe that such fantastic scenery could possibly exist on this tiny round globe called earth.
Today, the millions of visitors in the area know that the Colorado Plateau is for real. Photographers and film makers flock to this area to take pictures and make films.
