| Description | Established: May 24, 1911, The Colorado National Monument is a park in the rim rock South of Grand Junction. The park includes a number of steep canyons carved into the deep sandstone of the Colorado Plateau exposing a number of inspire sandstone spires. The Park is Host to a number of community and national events including races, hiking and climbing events. |
